A human alone, in his personal space. His whole world merely a chair, solid, stiff, uncomfortable. In a relentless friction with time, or else with nothingness, he finds himself squeezed in a conflict with the self. Time and again it’s impossible for him to settle, in this loneliness, the agony of existence.

In absence of the gaze of others a brand new space opens up, that hosts his utmost secret, odd desires. Using every medium possible, he slips into a dance of adaptation, a game of metamorphosis; being ridiculous gives a liberating feeling. An imperceptible pass from realism to a personal fluid universe, a timeless dimension where everything feels permitted. A getaway attempt that may easily turn into a nightmare, yet so unaware of that he is. Resembles to a bird venturing a leap.

A surrealistic solo dance performance that investigates the depths of human existence. As if looking through a peephole, the audience witnesses the creation of an intermediate space, where personal affairs become public, where a human is standing before the world yet furthermore before his own self.

An ode to reserving the right to feel uncertain.
