Maria Goes
To The River
Maria Goes To The River
Summary
The performance Maria Goes To The River is a journey. A journey through our inner and outer landscape. The course that Maria follows could be any course: life itself or our everyday routine. The river is the destination, that to which we aim; and it could belong tothe sphere of desire, of duty or it could simply be the inevitable. The piece focuses on the confusion we experience, on the fear that often -almost always -defines us, and on our continual need to discover our personal truth.
